BOILED RICE AND STEW

THE INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE RICE AND STEW ARE: (Ingredients are displayed on the cabinet in trays)

Ingredients for 3 serving

  1. 4 cups of rice
  2. 15 big fresh tomatoes
  3. 500ml vegetable oil
  4. 5 fresh scotch bonnet (rodo)
  5. 5 big anaheim pepper (bawa)
  6. 3 bell pepper or romanian bell pepper (tatase)
  7. 2 big onion bulbs
  8. A small piece of ginger (seasoning)
  9. 2 cubes of maggi (seasoning)
  10. 2 spoonful of locust beans (seasoning)
  11. Salt, according to your taste
  12. Dried fish
  13. Crayfish and shrimp
  14. water (enough to cover rice)

 

STEPS TO COOKING RICE

  1. Get a clean pot and place on heat
  2. Add plenty water and leave to boil.
  3. Wash rice properly, pour into boiling water, add salt, and give it 30 minutes to boil.
  4. Drain rice, put back on heat to dry and turn off the heat after a minute.

 

STEPS TO MAKING STEW

  1. Wash tomatoes, pepper, and one onion.
  2. blend into suitable paste
  3. Wash and chop the other onion thinly
  4. Place pan on heat, add vegetable oil and allow to heat for 2 minutes
  5. Add the remaining onions and the blended ingredients
  6. wash dried fish, cray fish and shrimp
  7. Add 1 level desert spoon salt, and a cube of Maggi. Then, add to the frying ingredients on the stove

 

 Stair, and allow to fry until the water dries up.  Vegetable oil will be seen at the surface when it is ready and you are ready to enjoy your meal.
